Martin Zubimendi has withdrawn from Spain\u2019s squad for the upcoming game against Egypt, becoming the tenth Arsenal player to pull out of national duty over this window.<\/p>\n
The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) have said<\/a> the midfielder has \u201cdiscomfort in his right knee\u201d and will return to his club side \u201cto avoid any risk and to protect the player\u2019s health\u201d.<\/p>\n Earlier on Sunday, Piero Hincapie withdrew from Ecuador\u2019s squad for the game against the Netherlands on Tuesday.<\/p>\n The 24-year-old played 72 minutes of his nation\u2019s 1-1 draw against Morocco on Friday, but Ecuador said on Sunday<\/a> the defender would return to his club side \u201cto begin his recovery process\u201d following medical tests, which were not disclosed.<\/p>\n On Saturday night, Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice both departed from the England camp before the team\u2019s friendly against Japan on Tuesday, and were returning to Arsenal for \u201cmedical assessment\u201d.<\/p>\n That followed the withdrawal of Noni\u00a0Madueke, who went to ground after a collision with Uruguay\u2019s Rodrigo Aguirre in the 38th minute of Friday\u2019s 1-1 draw at Wembley.<\/p>\n Madueke got back to his feet, but then sank back to the turf shortly afterwards and was quickly replaced by Jarrod Bowen as Madueke went limping down the tunnel.<\/p>\n After the match, Madueke walked through Wembley\u2019s media mixed zone with a knee brace on his left leg.<\/p>\n Noni Madueke has just walked through the mixed zone at Wembley with a brace on his left leg.
