We also inducted the 11th member of the FPL’s 100 club, as Riccardo Calafiori (£5.6m) hit a century for the season.

With fixtures becoming increasingly vital as the run-in progresses, several Gunners have risen in popularity and therefore price. Bukayo Saka (£10.0m) is among them, thanks in part to his terrific display against Fulham in GW35 which scooped 11 points in just 45 minutes of action.

Bukayo is now included in 11.5% of FPL squads, while the recent performances of Viktor Gyokeres (£9.0m) now see him spearheading 15.8% of attacks. Vik could be an astute addition to your team for GW37, having scored nine of his 14 Premier League goals in N5. Ahead of the trip to West Ham, Ebere Eze (£7.3m) rose in price, having started every game but two since Gameweek 26.

In terms of differential picks in red and white, Martin Odegaard (£7.8m) remains selected by just 1.6% of squads but showed his immense impact at the London Stadium last Sunday, creating the decisive goal. Martin Zubimendi (£5.0m) is still excellently priced and has a superb total of 130 points in his debut Premier League campaign, selected in fewer than 3% of sides. Another promising differential is Cristhian Mosquera (£5.3m), who along with Zubi was brought on at West Ham after the unfortunate injury blow to Ben White (£5.1m).

IN THE CLARET CAMP

Monday’s final serving at Emirates Stadium this season reacquaints us with Burnley, against whom we sealed a 2-0 win at Turf Moor back in November, Gyokeres and Declan Rice (£7.2m) on the scoresheet.

The Clarets are looking to finish their current spell in the Premier League on a positive note, with two games remaining under interim manager Michael Jackson before their return to the Championship.

The 19th-placed side have endured a torrid campaign since last year’s promotion, but did carve out a 2-2 draw with Champions League hopefuls Aston Villa in Lancashire last Sunday. Two standout performers grabbed the goals in GW36, with Zian Flemming (£5.3m) firing his 10th of the league season – a somewhat overlooked bargain forward option in FPL, picked by just 0.3% of competitors. Jaidon Anthony (£5.0m) scored the opener and continued what has been a strong personal year, his 123 points this term by far the highest total in the Burnley squad.

Despite their remarkable defensive record in the second tier last season, Burnley possess the unwanted record of the leakiest defence back in the top flight this year, conceding 73 goals in 36 matches. With that said, goalkeeper Martin Dubravka (£4.0m) is the second-most popular choice between the sticks among the Fantasy community, included by 26.4% of squads due primarily to his bargain fee. The veteran stopper is behind only our very own Raya – selected by 35.7% – for selection in their position.

Following their trip to north London, Burnley finish the season back at Turf Moor against the only club below them in the table, Wolverhampton Wanderers. With the two relegated outfits facing off to end the season in Gameweek 38 to a brighter degree, the final-day clash could be an ideal opportunity to bring in a bargain if you have transfers left over.

One overlooked star is midfielder Lesley Ugochukwu (£5.0m), selected by just 0.1% of managers but just seven points away from becoming the Clarets’ second centurion. An ultra-basement price is available for defender Maxime Esteve (£3.9m), a potentially useful last-game option who very rarely misses a match, and remains in 6.8% of squads even as a bench filler.

FINAL TWO FIXTURES

With GW36 now complete following the midweek game in hand between Manchester City and Crystal Palace, the final two Gameweeks present a straight set of 10 fixtures apiece, with no remaining doubles or blanks.

Consequently, the vast majority of players will now have used all of their remaining chips, though for managers with a chip still intact – as well as those with several free transfers banked – can fully focus on the last two games for each side when planning latecomer signings.

The longer the season rolls on, the easier it becomes to identify a smaller block of fixtures to work with via the fixture difficulty rating (FDR) scale. However, an overriding factor as the curtain comes down is not necessarily how a fixture appears on paper, but what certain clubs have to play for.

For instance, there are three clubs including the Gunners to have reached European finals in 2025/26, alongside Aston Villa and Crystal Palace. While we continue to battle for the league title and Villa must still take advantage of GW37 against Liverpool to secure Champions League qualification, Palace’s league safety is long confirmed and they could be more likely to rotate in their weekend contest at Brentford. Villa themselves even made wholesale changes in GW35, when they hosted Tottenham Hotspur in the midst of their Europa League semi-final tie.

Alongside Villa and Liverpool in fighting for the top five is Bournemouth, while Brighton, Brentford, Chelsea and Everton all have a chance of achieving a European place of some sort.

West Ham and Tottenham continue to battle it out for survival, with the Hammers heading to Newcastle United as Spurs make the trip to Chelsea in midweek.

There remains plenty to take into account even with just two Gameweeks to go, as managers attempt to rise in the rankings and achieve a fast finish in their mini-leagues. The transfer and team selection deadline comes this Friday, May 15, at 6:30pm UK time!

How to watch Arsenal v Burnley on TV

Copyright 2026 The Arsenal Football Club Limited.
