{"id":3855,"date":"2026-06-10T05:18:03","date_gmt":"2026-06-10T05:18:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ipsport.com.ng\/?p=3855"},"modified":"2026-06-10T05:18:03","modified_gmt":"2026-06-10T05:18:03","slug":"max-porter-joins-stoke-city-news-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ipsport.com.ng\/?p=3855","title":{"rendered":"Max Porter joins Stoke City | News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Max Porter is leaving his role as men\u2019s under-21s head coach to join Stoke City as Assistant Manager. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Max became head coach of our under-21s team in August 2025, taking the team to a 14th place finish out of 29 teams in Premier League 2 last season.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to that role, Max had joined us in July 2017 as our under-9s coach and had taken on the role of head coach at numerous age levels, including under-13s, under-17s and under-19s, as well as being our youth development phase lead coach. <\/p>\n<p>During his time with us, Max helped provide a strong foundation for many of our young players as they prepared for their futures in senior football, alongside competing regularly in Premier League 2.<\/p>\n<p>Max also has experience coaching at Newport County, Chelmsford City and Bromley, following a senior playing career that spanned 13 years. He now joins the coaching staff at Stoke City, with manager Mark Robins, ahead of the new Championship season.<\/p>\n<p>Everyone at Arsenal would like to thank Max for his contribution to the club and wish him and his family all the best for the future.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Copyright 2026 The Arsenal Football Club Limited.
