Haro Rioja Volley confirms that he will play in Europe for the first time in its history


He Haro Rioja Volley has communicated this Wednesday at European Volleyball Federation which will occupy the square that won last season in the Challenge Cupwith what will play European competitions for the first time in its history.

The Haro coach, Esther López, has been in charge of announcing through club networks the step taken by the entity on the day that concluded the deadline to communicate to European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) that assumed the Plaza won when being semifinalist of the Spanish League.

López herself has also announced in the same message that she has renewed her contract as coach of the Rioja team for two campaigns.

In recent weeks the leaders of the entity had analyzed if they could assume the demands, especially economic, of the competition and have finally decided to take the step, waiting to meet their first rivals, who, depending on the distance with Spain, would greatly condition the budget of the Rioja.

In addition, it remains to be defined whether the European Federation will allow Haro to play this competition on its own track or force him to move to another, probably to Logroño.

The coach's renewal adds to those already completed in the template, those of the Hispanic-Brazilian Fernanda Gritzbach, and the Spanish Sala Folgueira, Paula Carpenter and Vega Lope.
