While Coen acknowledged Tuten has done a “solid job,” he emphasized the need for improvement – a not-so-subtle public call-out that reflects the team’s high expectations.
With an underperforming backfield led by Travis Etienne Jr. and Tank Bigsbythere’s a real opportunity for Tuten to earn playing time, but only if he proves he can protect Trevor Lawrence.
In a new coaching regime where nothing is guaranteed, young players like Tuten will have to fight for their place in what the Jaguars hope is a revitalized offense.
