It is about VOLUÑA CHAMPIONSHIP OF VOLOY SNOW, Organized by the Catalan Volleyball Federation, which this year will gather a total of ten teams in a spectacular test that changes the sand of the beach for the snow of the mountain.
This second edition of the Catalunya Championship of Volleyo Snow is raised as a challenge to consolidate an event that attracted a large number of athletes last year and that this course has also aroused a lot of expectation among volleyball players. A total of ten teams will participate with the aim of proclaiming champions of Catalonia.
Although in our territory, Volleyo Snow is a very unknown modality, at the European level it even has official competition calendar and, in fact, the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) wants to expand this discipline worldwide in the not too distant future.
A little history of the volleyball snow
The growing interest that this sports discipline is experiencing in recent years has materialized with an official competition calendar at the European level, organized by the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) where the main selections of the continent participate.
