Felipe Pascual highlighted the federation's effort to reinforce the visibility of the competition and guarantee the best conditions to athletes: “The main return is that they are well served, that they have the maximum projection and remain the hallmark of this federation”.
Among the novelties of this edition is the improvement of the economic conditions of the players, with a 30% increase and the presentation of a new trophy prepared in Iron Cortendesigned by local artist Lucía Rodríguez, symbol of the commitment to sustainability.

The Higueron Resort and the Volleyo Playa, an eternal alliance
For his part, Luis García emphasized the bet of the Higuerón Resort for continuing the championship: “It is a pride and at the same time a responsibility. We want to continue evolving and get this event, which is already a reference, grow even more”.
During the presentation, the sustainability criteria applied both in the materials and in the design of the environment were emphasized. Deputy Juan Rosas stressed that the competition is celebrated “In one of the best sports facilities in the province”, While Councilor Julio Rodríguez expressed the pride of the city for hosting the event and thanked the work of all institutions and, especially, of athletes.
The player Sofía Gonzálezcurrent champion of the tournament, explained that an injury will prevent him from competing this year, but said he will be present by encouraging: “I hope you all come to enjoy the great atmosphere of beach volleyball in these spectacular facilities”.

Four days of the best Spanish beach volleyball
The championship starts this Thursday, August 28with the previous phases and will last until the domingo 31when the semifinals will be played in the morning and the female and male finals in the afternoon. Both parties can be followed live through Teledeport and RTVE Play.
