Spain wins Kenya and continues with good feelings before the World Cup


The Spanish women's volleyball team defeated Kenya on Monday 3-1 (28-30, 25-19, 29-27, 25-21)in another friendly match held in Hanói before the World Cup, which will be held in Thailand between August 22 and September 7.

The team trained by Pascual Saurín won his second consecutive victory, after beating the Vietnam team last Sunday, in this friendly triangular, which will close this Tuesday, with a new day in which the three selections will compete again in a 'all against all' format.

Spain had to go back after starting losing an even first set, in which it had a set of set (with 25-24), although it was improving with the passage of the game.

After winning the second manga, the third set also had to need the tiebreaker, in which the Spanish team saved a set of set with 24-23 against. Already with 2-1 in his favor, the selection culminated the comeback winning with more solvency the fourth and last.

After tomorrow Tuesday, the expedition will travel to Nakhon Ratchasima (Thailand), headquarters of the World Championship, where Spain will be measured in the first phase to the selections of Türkiye, Canada and Bulgaria.
