The Houston Texans shocked all the sports bettors by pulling off a win over the Los Angeles Chargers on Saturday as they kicked off the first round of the playoffs.
The game was off to a slow start, but by the end of the first half, the Texans took over the lead and never gave it back, dominating the Chargers on all sides of the ball.
Texans move on to the Divisional Round
With this victory, the No. 4 Texans will move on to the Divisional Round to be played next weekend. As the first game to be played of the Wild Card Weekend, the Texans had to wait a bit to find out who their opponent would be, but now it’s confirmed.
Because all of the top seeds won this weekend, the Texans will face the No. 1 Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium. The Ravens beat the Steelers on Saturday night, so the Texans needed the Broncos to stun the Bills in order to avoid a fate against Patrick Mahomes and co.
