We rounded off our historic Premier League campaign with a 2-1 win at Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon.
Gabriel Jesus captained the Gunners and led the team through its guard of honour by the Palace side, opening the scoring shortly before half-time to continue his excellent record against the Eagles.
Noni Madueke doubled the advantage after the break with a well-taken volley, which turned out to be the final goal of our triumphant league season.
Jean-Philippe Mateta struck late for the hosts but we held on for the victory, which sees us finish seven points clear at the top on a final total of 85 – with the Premier League trophy presented in a ceremony in front of the travelling Gooners after the final whistle.
