The Netflix docuseries Quarterback returns next month for a second seasonshadowing three NFL signal callers during their attempts to lead their respective teams to success in the 2024 campaign.
Promising an “unfiltered look at the on-field action and off-field reality of life as an NFL quarterback”, the fresh instalment of the show features two new QBs, together with a familiar face from season one.
Which QBs are in Quarterback season two?
Having appeared alongside Patrick Mahomes and Marcus Mariota in Quarterback’s opening season, 13-year league veteran Kirk Cousins is back with an inside look at his first term in the NFL since leaving the Minnesota Vikings for the Atlanta Falcons.
The 36-year-old is joined in Quarterback’s second season by two of the NFL’s top-ranked QBsplayers who were both No. 1 Draft picks: the Cincinnati Bengals’ Joe Burrow and the Detroit Lions’ Jared Goff.
“This time around, the series follows three players at very different moments in their careers – from striving for a Super Bowl to starting over in a new city,” Netflix says.
When does Quarterback season 2 premiere?
The new season of Quarterback premieres on Netflix on Tuesday, July 8, 2025. As is typical of the streaming platform, all episodes are to drop at once.
As was the case in season one, which accrued positive viewing figures after its release in 2023, Quarterbacks season two is expected to be an eight-parter.
