The team's message offered fans the chance to “bring their shovels, but they will also be delivered by the Bills, ABM and Bud Light. Future snow shovelers are asked to dress appropriately for the weather (gloves, scarves, hats, coats, boots, etc.)”
To thank the fans who made the final regular season game at Highmark Stadium possible, the team announced that “Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield would provide the first 500 shovelers with Highmark Stadium-branded winter gloves.”
Other times the snowfalls have been so intense that the Bills have had to directly change venues when the stadium was left unusable due to the snow. This happened, for example, three years ago, when The NFL changed the Bills game to Detroit due to winter storm warnings.
