Temperatures are high in Texas, but so are Shedeur Sanders’ hopes of proving people wrong.
After facing tough criticism surrounding his fall from potential first-round NFL Draft pick to a fifth-round selection, the Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback is putting in the work to prove he belongs on the rosterand he’s making sure we see it.
Sanders’ midnight training in the Texas heat
As the Browns get ready to head to training camp later this month, Sanders sparked buzz after posting a midnight workout video on social media, showing him training in Dallas, Texas to his own song, “Too Legit.”
In the video, Sanders is seen running through the dark streets of Dallas shirtless with the lyrics to his song “Too Legit” playing over the screen.
The late-night grind appears to be a direct response to the criticism he’s been facing. Scouts had questioned his attitude and effort during the draft process, calling him “polarizing” and unprepared.
With a crowded QB room including Kenny Pickett and Dillon Gabriel, Sanders is making a public push to change perceptions and prove he belongs.
