Arsenal and Canada forward Olivia Smith has withdrawn from the SheBelieves Cup due to a concussion injury.
Smith, 21, was stretchered off during Arsenal’s 3-0 victory over Bristol City in the Women’s FA Cup on Sunday. She was involved in a clash of heads shortly after the interval, which led to a lengthy pause in play and 14 minutes of second-half stoppage time.
The versatile forward was carried off the pitch on a stretcher, having been fitted with a neck brace, but was cleared after checks later in the day.

Smith was set to face Colombia (March 1), the USWNT (March 4) and Argentina (March 7) in the week-long SheBelieves Cup tournament, but has now been replaced in the Canada squad by Denver Summit forward Megan Reid.
Arsenal confirmed in a statement that Smith will remain under the supervision of the north London club’s medical team during the international break.
Smith has scored eight goals for Arsenal since becoming the first £1m ($1.3m) player in women’s football history when she joined the club from Liverpool in July last year.
Arsenal, who are fourth in the Women’s Super League, are next in action against the London City Lionesses on March 15.
