Wednesday night saw us beat Everton 1-0 thanks to a stoppage-time winner from substitute Stina Blackstenius, and the celebrations didn’t stop at the final whistle.

Pre-match, there were presentations to be made, with Caitlin Foord recognised for surpassing 200 Arsenal appearances, while Alessia Russo received her Player of the Month trophy for April.

After the game, there was a special ceremony at Emirates Stadium to say goodbye to six Gunners who will leave north London at the end of the season.

Barbora Votíková, Naomi Williams, Manu Zinsberger, Laia Codina, Victoria Pelova and Beth Mead will all head off for new adventures, and our squad, staff and supporters showed their appreciation for our departing stars after our final home game of the season.

It was a particularly emotional night for Beth, who leaves Arsenal after nine-and-a-half years at the club. In that time, our no.9 has become the record assist holder in the WSL, helping us to six major titles in her time as a Gunner.

Head coach Renée Slegers also took to the pitch to address the crowd, thanking our magnificent fans for their love and support throughout the 2025/26 season.
