Scott Swift, 73 years old, recently underwent quintuple bypass heart surgery after a doctor identified concerns during a routine checkup. The surgery was preventive, not prompted by a heart attack. Still, it’s an extremely serious procedure.

Thankfully, according to a Rolling Stone spokesperson, Scott is now “doing fantastic.” Swift, her brother Austin, and her mother Andrea have been closely supporting him through recovery.

This isn’t the first health challenge for Swift’s family – both her parents have previously battled cancera topic she’s addressed publicly in the past.

“I’ve had to learn how to handle serious illness in my family,” Swift said back in 2019. “It’s taught me that there are real problems and then there’s everything else. My mom’s cancer is a real problem. I used to be so anxious about daily ups and downs. I give all of my worry, stress, and prayers to real problems now.”

The news puts Swift’s relationship with Kelce in a more humanizing light, reminding fans that even mega-celebrities deal with real-life family health issues.
