Taylor Swift becomes Chiefs’ chief cheerleader

Swift has become the Chiefs’ most high-profile fan in recent times after getting together with Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce in the summer of 2023.

The singer-songwriter was a regular in the stands during the last postseason as Andy Reid’s team won Super Bowl LVIII, with images of Swift and Kelce celebrating the Chiefs’ victory in Las Vegas breaking the internet last February.

Could history repeat itself in a few weeks’ time? Kansas City are one game away from a third successive Super Bowlwith the Buffalo Bills standing in their way in the AFC Championship Game.

In the NFC, meanwhile, the Eagles will take on the Washington Commanders in the Championship Gamewhich is where Swift could start to have issues with Hadid.

Gigi Hadid hopes Eagles fly to Super Bowl

The California-born model has adopted the Eagles as her team because of boyfriend Bradley Cooperwho grew up near Philly. The duo were spotted cheering Philadelphia on from the stands in Sunday’s Divisional Round victory over the Los Angeles Rams.

Swift and Hadidwho have been friends for more than a decade, could therefore be on opposing sides at Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans on February 9.

Although the Chiefs and the Eagles could meet in the Super Bowl for the second time in three years, neither Swift nor Hadid was with her current partner when they previously met in Glendale, Arizona in February 2023.
